Please be aware of the following common scam tactics
1. Send Emails or SMS with fake links to trick you into clicking and filling out account security information to steal your assets.
Get in the habit of checking “From/Contact”. If you have any doubts about the received Email/SMS, please ignore the message, or check it on this page;
Do NOT trust strangers, click on unfamiliar links, and download unfamiliar attachments. If you find any, please contact us in time to prevent more users from being deceived;
SMS messages sent by ViaBTC will NEVER contain any URLs or request any account information from users.
2. Clone ViaBTC official website to induce you to fill in your account security information and steal your assets.
Please check the URL you are visiting to make sure it is the official ViaBTC website "https://www.viabtc.com". Please get any information about ViaBTC through the official website. If you are not sure, please verify it on this page or contact us.
3. Pose as ViaBTC official support or staff to contact you, ask for your password, GA code and other account security information, and steal your assets.
In any case, ViaBTC customer service or staff does NOT ask for your login password, GA code, email verification code, payment password or other account security information, and does NOT ask you to transfer funds to a wallet address/account that is not yours;
ViaBTC does not currently provide official phone support. Any caller claiming to be “ViaBTC staff xxxx” is a scam.
4. Forge ViaBTC official announcements and Emails, and spread false negative information, to induce you to transfer your hashrate or assets.
Do NOT trust screenshots or photos from strangers, as they may be fake. Do NOT trust any information released through unofficial channels. 5. Advertise fake events, gain your trust to commit further fraud.
